3 Steps To Build Brand Awareness


Once you know your customers and know that you can get them to like you, you can then ask them to share on what they like about your salon products and services. You want them to talk about the service or the product that is directly associated with what you stand for. To know what they like is really important, otherwise you may miss out on some of your customers who want to share what they really love. Once you know exactly what your customers want, you need to build your brand awareness. No matter whether it's a discount coupon, free gift, or an invitation to your twice monthly salon, building your brand awareness helps you market your business to get more customers and eventually build a reputation for your salon.

A brand isn't what decorating the salon looks like or how clean your salon shop is. The brand is a promise by you to your customers about the value and the quality of your service. It is how you are different in an industry that is known for individuality. To build your brand awareness, follow the steps below:

1. Determine what your brand is. Assess what you stand for. Ask yourself, "What is my brand?" "What do I stand for?" What are my values? What are the top 3 values in my brand? Answering these questions is the first step to knowing your brand.

2. Know your customer. Before setting up your salon, always pick up where ever you are going to.  It's important to build the relationship with your customers. This is to know where they are at and to immediately develop an understanding of their needs. The practice of noticing your customers first will build your brand awareness.

3. Crawling the contexts. Look around tables, chairs, equipments, or any other place and acknowledge the client or customer. Make eye contact with at least three of the customers every time you walk by. It will not only make you appear helpful but also recognition of your presence helps build your brand awareness.

Use these three points in your salon to build your brand and get noticed by many customers and you will build your business faster and with more upside potential than you thought you could even imagine.
